As one of the main impact modifiers for PVC, MBS resin can not only enhance toughness while maintaining maximum transparency of PVC, but also significantly improve the toughness of products compared to other impact modifiers at the same dosage. Therefore, it is widely used in the processing and application of engineering plastics such as PVC and PBT/PC.
1. Impact modifier MBS
Impact resistant MBS resin is mainly used in the PVC processing and forming process to improve its impact strength without damaging the inherent characteristics of PVC. Due to its similar solubility parameters to PVC, the two have good thermodynamic compatibility, manifested as PVC having high impact strength, temperature resistance, and coloring properties at room or low temperatures.
2. Transparent modifier MBS
Transparent MBS resin is mainly used in the processing and forming of transparent PVC products to improve their impact strength without compromising the inherent characteristics of transparent PVC products. Its refractive index is similar to PVC, and using MBS as an impact modifier for PVC will not affect its transparency. It is the best material to improve the impact resistance of PVC and manufacture transparent products.

MBS is mainly used for outdoor PVC products, such as PVC door and window profiles, PVC sheets and films, PVC pipe fittings, PVC fences, PVC board flooring, PVC boards, etc.
25Kg/bag, the product should be kept clean during transportation and loading and unloading, and protected from direct sunlight, rain, high temperature, and humidity to avoid damaging the packaging. It should be stored in a cool, dry, non direct sunlight warehouse with a temperature below 40 ºC. The storage period is two years, and after two years, it can still be used after passing the performance inspection.
