In addition to possessing all the basic characteristics of PVC processing aids, foaming regulators also have higher molecular weight, higher melt strength, and can make the pore structure of the product more uniform and lower density than general processing aids. By increasing the pressure and torque of PVC melt, the cohesion and uniformity of PVC melt can be effectively enhanced, preventing the merging of bubbles and obtaining uniform foamed products.
1. ACR processing aids can promote the melting of PVC, improve the surface finish, improve the elasticity of the melt, and enhance the elongation and strength of the melt.
2. It is beneficial to cover the bubbles and prevent the collapse of the cells. The molecular weight and dosage of the foam regulator have a great influence on the density of the foam sheet: with the increase of the molecular weight, the melt strength of PVC increases, and the density of the foam sheet can be made lower, and the increase of the dosage of the regulator have the same effect. But this effect does not have a linear relationship. The product should be kept clean during transportation and handling, prevent sunshine, rain, high temperature and humidity, and avoid damage to packaging. It should be stored in a cool, dry, sunless warehouse with temperature below 40ºC for two year. It can still be used after two year' performance test.
