CPVC Product Introduction
Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin (CPVC)
Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) is a product obtained by chlorination modification of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), with a white or light yellow appearance, odorless and non-toxic powder or loose particles.
Product performance
1). The temperature range is wide, and its hard products can be used for a long time in the range of 40 ºC -98 ºC.
2). The mechanical properties are excellent, and CPVC can still maintain strong rigidity at temperatures close to 100 ºC, meeting the rigidity requirements of equipment and pipelines under these temperature conditions.
3). Good chemical corrosion resistance, still has good acid, alkali, and chemical resistance under high temperature conditions, far better than PVC and other resins.
4). Good flame retardancy, CPVC has excellent flame retardancy and self extinguishing properties, with a limit oxygen index of 60. It has characteristics such as no flame dripping, limited flame diffusion, and smoke generation.
5). Low thermal conductivity, heat-resistant pipes processed with CPVC have less heat loss and can eliminate the insulation layer.
6). Not affected by residual chlorine in water, polyolefin materials will decompose when encountering residual chlorine in water, resulting in cracks and dripping, while CPVC will not.
7). Good antibacterial properties, CPVC pipes can resist the erosion of morphological bacteria and have antibacterial properties.
8). CPVC processing and molding are the same as PVC, simple and convenient.
Product Usage
CPVC has superior high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, and rigidity, and is cost-effective compared to other thermoplastic plastics. Widely used in the manufacturing of various pipes, injection molded parts, plates, profiles, sheets, bars, etc.
The main application areas include:
(1) High temperature and corrosion-resistant pipes, fittings, valves, plates, sheets, and fillers for chemical towers used in chemical industry.
(2) Buried high-voltage power transmission cable protective sleeve.
(3) Pipes and fittings for hot and cold water.
(4) Materials for fire sprinkler pipelines and places with strict fire protection requirements.
(5) Process various components using CPVC rods.

Packaging and storage
20/25KG packaging, also customizable as needed. During product transportation and loading and unloading, cleanliness should be maintained to prevent sun, rain, high temperature, and moisture, and to avoid damaging the packaging. It should be stored in a cool, dry, sun free warehouse with a temperature below 40 ºC for a storage period of two years. Two years later, after passing the performance test, it can still be used.
